Each year goes by faster, and the holiday season is upon us once again.
You may find yourself looking for ideas for holiday gifts for those special people in your life. Or struggling with ideas for your own gift list, as I do every year. And if you or anyone you know is a product manager or a designer, we’ve got you covered.
We’ve been doing this gift guide for a few years now, and it’s one of my favorite posts each year. Like our Holiday Gift Guide from 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023, we’ve gathered some of our favorite gift ideas for this year.
Once again, I’ve arranged the list starting with some affordable options and then moving into price-is-no-barrier. So you have your pick of all types of gifts.
Let’s hit it.
Affordable
Effortless - $15
I think good books make good gifts, so we’re starting off the list with a couple really good ones. If you were a fan of Essentialism, like I am, then you’ll be a fan of Effortless (you can read my review here). Anyone working in the corporate world will appreciate this one and the next one.
Slow Productivity - $18
Slow Productivity comes from Cal Newport, the author of Deep Work, which is another favorite book of mine. You can read my review here on this one as well. But it’s another great option for a gift this year.
Kasa Smart Plugs - $19
I love Kasa Smart Plugs. I use them all over our house for lamps and holiday lights. They work exceptionally well, have a great app, and don’t need a hub.
Anker Charger - $29
Anker makes some of the best charging products. And who among us doesn’t find themself needing a charger. Whether it’s for travel, in the office, or just sitting on the couch and charging your phone and laptop.
Moderate
Bonsai Lego Tree - $49
I’m a big fan of Lego. My daughter got this set for me this year, and I love it. It’s much easier to take care of than a live Bonsai tree, but still makes a great plant for your desk.
Record Player - $179
This is the record player that I have in my office, and it’s been great. I love having an integrated record player. There are other really good ones as well, but this is a great option.
Theragun Mini - $199
Having a Theragun is great. I have a larger one, but the mini is a great option as a gift for someone. Especially if they are working at a computer all day.
Expensive
Bose QC Headphones - $250
I’m a firm believer in having at least one good pair of noise-cancelling headphones. Bose Quiet Comfort are excellent. I’d be happy to get a pair of these for travel or work.
Bambu Lab 3D Printer - $299
3D printers have gotten really good over the past few years. Bambu Labs makes really good ones from what I’ve heard and read. I’ll probably get my next one from them, and their mini would make a great gift. Product people also love making things, so this is a great gift for most product people.
Remarkable Paper - $499
Product people and designers are always writing notes and sketching things, so getting them a really good digital paper tablet could be a great gift. I know I’d love something like this. I take a ton of notes on my iPad, and this would be a great tool.
So there you have our latest list. 10 ideas to help you get a gift for that product manager, designer, or technology enthusiast in your life. Hope you have a good holiday season, and feel free to send any of the items on this list my way.
