10 Gift Ideas for Product Managers and Designers
2025 Edition
It’s hard to believe we’re nearly at the end of another year.
You may find yourself looking for ideas for holiday gifts for the special people in your life. Or struggling with ideas for your own gift list, as I do every year. And if you or anyone you know is a product manager or a designer, we’ve got you covered.
I’ve been doing this gift guide for a few years now, and it’s one of my favorite posts each year. Like our Holiday Gift Guide from 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024, we’ve gathered some of our favorite gift ideas for this year.
Once again, I’ve arranged the list starting with some affordable options and then moving into price-is-no-barrier. So you have your pick of all types of gifts.
Let’s hit it.
Affordable
Webcam Covers - $5
I put these on every computer and device with a camera. They are subtle but incredibly useful to prevent any unwanted webcam shots.
Keyboard Cleaner - $11
If you need an easy way to clean your keyboard (or maybe Lego sets?), this seems like it may be a good answer. And we’re all eating at our desks all the time, so it’s probably past time to tidy up.
Anker Power Bank - $29
We took a trip to Scotland this year and I decided to upgrade my portable power bank. This one worked incredibly well. It is functionally amazing. The cord for fast charging is built in, so you don’t have to worry about loose cables. And it can also charge wirelessly.
Stanley Tumbler - $35
I’ve been using a version of this tumbler for the past year and it’s great. It’s easy to carry around to meetings and has no problems being dropped.
Moderate
Leatherman Micra - $49
Leatherman tools are some of the best and most useful there are. I have a Leatherman Squirt on my keychain and have been carrying it for years. They come in handy all the time.
Elgato Stream Deck Mini - $59
I’ve debated getting one of these for some time now. It looks like it would be very helpful for all the meetings I’m on. But not quite the type of thing I’d buy for myself. But if someone gave me one, I’d be thrilled about it.
Kindle Colorsoft - $170
I’ve recommended the Kindle before, but the new version of the Kindle brings color to your books. I would love this for highlighting and anything with pictures in it. So, it’s a great upgrade for anyone who uses an e-reader.
Expensive
Lego Sunflowers - $199
I have to include a Lego set on this gift list. I love the flower sets as well as the art sets. Though I haven’t done this one yet, it’s on my list.
Patagonia Vest - $229
I’m a sucker for a good vest, and I love both my Cotopaxi and Patagonia vests. They are well-made and should last a very long time. Great for the cold weather or the cold office.
Bambu P2S - $799
I have the X1C and it has been the best 3d printer I’ve every owned (and I’ve owned several so far). I haven’t used the P2S, but assume it is relatively similar and you generally can’t go wrong with a Bambu printer.
So there you have our latest list. 10 ideas to help you get a gift for that product manager, designer, or technology enthusiast in your life. Hope you have a good holiday season, and feel free to send any of the items on this list my way.
